Top score in the Fraunhofer study in BPM core disciplines.

Assessed as "very good" for system integrations

As part of the Fraunhofer IESE study about BPM suites, BPM inspire was awarded the score "very good" in the system integration category. This is one of the most important issues for partners and companies which already have their own products or mature IT structures.

"Inspire Technologies was rated "good" (87.5%) in the system integration category, which was well above the average for the other providers in the study. Having already achieved a "good" rating in the data integration subcategory, in other words, the interaction with external data sources, this analysis was surpassed by the "very good" score that was awarded for system integration, i.e. integration with external applications. The sophisticated data mapping functions used when integrating web services were particularly noteworthy."

"We were particularly impressed by the BPM suite from Inspire Technologies because of its exceptional flexibility when creating modern user interfaces. When it came to sheer functionality, this solution was one of the best products in the test, thanks to its extensive options for tailoring process implementations and the associated process reports." – Dr. Sebastian Adam, Fraunhofer IESE

With nine providers of BPM suites having participated in the 2013 study, this time there were 20 software vendors that were assessed not just by experts from the Fraunhofer IESE, but also by external experts such as Prof. Dr. Thomas Allweyer (Kaiserslautern University of Applied Sciences), Prof. Dr. Andreas Gadatsch and Paul Bossauer (Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences). In contrast to a number of studies conducted by other organizations in the past, this study focused on "BPM suites in practice." It was not the mere presence of features that was looked at, but rather non-functional aspects such as simplicity, capacity for change (flexibility), capacity for integration and usability in an everyday context. The assessment of the individual BPM suites took place in individual workshops, each of which lasted one day, i.e. each provider was invited to a dedicated meeting. These workshops followed a fixed agenda.
